Little Trunk and another Yale student were on Joe Scarborough's MSNBC show tonight, talking about the antiwar "teach-in" at Yale, their column in FrontPage magazine describing the anti-Semitic slurs and other absurdities engaged in by Yale professors at the "teach-in," and Professor Sleeper's subsequent denunciation of them (the students, not the professors) in the Yale Daily News as "Fedayeen" and "neo-Stalinists." Eliana and her friend did great. It was a pretty brief segment and Scarborough didn't try to elicit the whole series of events. But Eliana told the basic story (ignoring Scarborough's initial question and answering the one he should have asked, like a veteran politician) and the bizarreness of Sleeper's attack on the students came through clearly. Sleeper was invited to attend but did not return phone calls from Scarborough's staff. Way to go, Eliana. Keep up the good work. BIG TRUNK ADDS: We trust our readers will forgive a father's expression of pride and allow me to express my gratitude both to Power Line readers (with a special bow to Hugh Hewitt) and the rest of the Power Line crew for their expressions of concern and support throughout Little Trunk's bout with the bully.
