The art of pointing fingers
John Kerry has apparently "moved on" from calling for the resignation of Donald Rumsfeld. He seems to aiming one step higher in the chain of command. On the misconduct of American soldiers guarding prisoners in Iraq, Kerry now says:
“What has happened is not just something that a few, you know, privates and corporals or sergeants engaged in...This is something that comes out of an attitude about the rights of prisoners of war. It's an attitude that comes out of how we went there in the first place, an attitude that comes out of America's overall arrogance as policy.”For a self-proclaimed (even if phony) war criminal, Kerry takes the art of pointing fingers to unusual heights. The Louisville Courier-Journal has the story: "Bush's arrogance costly, Kerry says."
