In my opinion, some of the most irresponsible political commentary in America is done by editorial cartoonists. This disgusting example, by Steve Benson, was pointed out by reader Doyle Elkins:

If you've read my article in the Daily Standard, you know how outrageous Benson's characterization is. But there never seems to be any sanction imposed on left-wing editorial cartoonists who misrepresent facts. Apparently they can spew venom endlessly while hiding behind the excuse that it's only a cartoon.
