What's Happening in Crawford

Documentary filmmaker Andrew Marcus is in Crawford, Texas, observing the demonstrations there, taking pictures, and interviewing some of the participants. Check out his site Lights Camera Protest. Andrew has posted video interviews with one of the leaders of the Crawford "Peace House," who says, in the course of the interview: "There weren't any terrorists in Iraq prior to our invasion. That's a historical fact which the administration admits." This is the kind of outright falsehood that the left routinely uses to make its case sound plausible. Don't miss, too, Andrew's interview with a man who walked down from the 51st floor of the World Trade Center on September 11, and went to Crawford to support the President and the troops.

Andrew notes that this satellite truck is parked next to the antiwar protesters' tent:

He writes:

The interesting thing about this sat truck is that I don’t think it was there with any news organization. I could be incorrect on this, but I’m pretty sure that it was brought in by the anti-war protesters themselves. It is what gives them internet access from the tent, and it is also what they use to create their own video packages to deliver to the networks. These are some extremely well funded and media savvy people. It is not just a grass roots effort by every day people.
