Curses, Foiled Again!

The Democrats thought they had scored a coup when Tom DeLay was required to submit to fingerprinting and a mug shot. No doubt they thought they'd be able to use the photo as a campaign prop. But the Congressman thwarted them; here is the mug shot:

It'll be hard to do much with that in a TV ad. Meanwhile, we understand that DeLay's lawyers have filed motions to change the venue of the case and for the judge (a MoveOn.org contributor) to recuse himself. We don't have the documents yet, but will post the motions or excerpts from them when we get them.
