This is from RedState: If you're a regular reader of Turkish Press or Geo in Pakistan, you already know that on December 23,Three Algerians arrested in an anti-terrorist operation in southern Italy are suspected of being linked to a planned new series of attacks in the United States, Interior Minister Giuseppe Pisanu said Friday. The blockbuster article by Steve Hayes linked to below notes that many of the terrorists who trained in Saddam's camps in Iraq prior to 2003 were from North Africa. It would be interesting to know whether some of the Algerians who were plotting to "outdo the September 11, 2001 strikes" were trained by the Iraqi army. It would also be interesting to know whether NSA intercepts played a role in catching these terrorists. |
