A Sign of the Times

Madonna has pulled the antiwar video that she had been about to release. The video depicted Madonna in fatigues and ended with her tossing a hand grenade at President Bush. The singer said:
“Due to the volatile state of the world and out of sensitivity and respect to the armed forces, who I support and pray for, I do not want to risk offending anyone who might misinterpret the meaning of this video.”
A lot of people underestimated the determination of the American people to fight for their civilization after September 11. Some of them are starting to catch on.
