Who's the Sheriff?
In its roundup of the winners and losers of this year's election season, Beautiful Atrocities says:
When John Hinderaker of Powerline has a victory chat with Tom Brokaw, you know there's a new sheriff in town.
This year was the last election for both Brokaw and Dan Rather; Peter Jennings may not be far behind. It will be interesting to see whether the new generation that replaces the big three, who will not just be talking heads but will have considerable influence over the networks' news operations, will be more friendly to conservative ideas than the liberals they replace. I have a hunch they will be.
