At Death’s Door

Last week, I was annoyed with my oldest daughter when she stayed home from school with what I took to be a cold. Having now contracted, presumably, the same bug, I realize that I wronged the poor child. This is no cold, it’s the return of the plague. I’m flat on my back; for now, all appointments and media appearances are canceled. Blogging will be light and possibly delirious.
