Among the heroes, Part II

Scott has noted that, next Sunday at 9:00 p.m., the Discovery Channel will air a film on United Flight 93 called “The Flight That Fought Back.” Our friend Laura Armstrong tells me that, on the same day at 8:00 p.m., the History Channel will air a program about Rick Rescorla, a hero of both 9/11 and the Vietnam War. The program is called “The Man Who Predicted 9/11.” Rescorla was in charge of security at a large firm in the World Trade Center. His heroism in the midst of the chaos saved 3,000 lives. He got everyone in his company out of the building and then perished himself when the towers fell.
