Palestinian Authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas tells the Arab daily el-Hayat that he has proof that al-Qaida cells have infiltrated, and are operating in the West Bank and Gaza: "Abbas: Al-Qaeda is in W. Yair Naveh regarding Jordan's King Abdullah: "Hamas is gathering strength and a dangerous axis starting in Iran, continuing through Iraq and Jordan is in the process of conception. According to Jordan’s news agency Petra, acting Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert apologized to King Abdullah and the Jordanians for Naveh’s remarks.
