Complicated life
In "Complicated Life" on the Kinks' classic "Muswell Hillbillies" album, the singer awakes "with a pain in my neck, A pain in my heart and a pain in my chest." He goes to the doctor and is advised:
You gotta slow down your life or you're gonna be dead,The song concludes, "Life is so complicated."
Cut out the struggle and strife,
It only complicates your life.
