Just like Tom Thumb's dudes
My friend Steve Hayward tries to introduce some sense into the global warming hysteria, as reported in today's New York Times. Steve notes that the Times describes him as "big-boned." Is that really necessary? Has the Times ever observed that Al Gore is big-boned? Steve adds that now that he has gone into competition with "An Inconvenient Truth," he has "an excuse to stop wearing a necktie...just like real Hollywood dudes."
UPDATE: Was it the Times's description of Steve as "big-boned" that caused me accidentally to inflate the size of the photo of Steve (above) about ten times beyond what our site can accommodate? I have now reduced the size of the photo from the Times article, as I had intended to do.
