Poacher's goals from Leon Osman and Victor Anichebe, and a dazzling performance by Mikel Arteta were enough to enable Everton to start its season on winning note, 2-1 at home against lowly Wigan. Clearly, we'll have to play better than we did today to make any kind of impact this season.
